Merge PDF files
Choose two or more PDF files, put them in order and join them into one. They are joined on your device and never uploaded.
Runs qpdf in your browser. Open-source licenses
How to merge PDF files
Choose your files, or drop them on the box above.
Put them in order with the move buttons. The file at the top comes first.
Select Merge PDFs, then Download merged PDF.
Your files never leave your device
The merge runs in your browser with qpdf, an open-source PDF library built to run on your device. No file, page or file name is sent to us or to anyone else. The tool itself loads only when you start, so the page stays fast.
What is kept
Pages are copied exactly: text, images and page sizes are unchanged, and nothing is added, not even a watermark.
Bookmarks, links between pages, comments, filled-in form fields and page numbering are kept, and the first file's title becomes the merged file's title.
How large can the files be?
It depends on your device's memory. On a current iPhone, files up to about 180 MB in total can be merged; on iOS 17 or older, about 120 MB. A computer can take much more.
If the files are too large for your device, the tool says so before it starts, rather than letting the browser close the tab. Files protected with a password cannot be merged yet.
